Trek (Bontrager) tubeless set-up.

I have a Trek Domane ALR5 Disc with TLR (tubeless ready wheels).

I like the idea of Trek's rim strip inserts instead of tape...

... will any manufacturers tyres be compatible with this rim strip? I'm really fond of Schwalbe tyres.

Also, can I do better than Trek's own brand tyre sealant?

Complete novice on the tubeless front so sorry if the questions are dumb.

I believe any UST tire or Tubeless Ready tires that use a UST spec bead such as Bontrager TLR, Specialized, Schwalbe should be ok.
Looking forward to the "can I do better than Trek's own brand tyre sealant" replies... I'll just leave Stans here!
