Trek alpha sl

I have been building an old 2004 trek alpha 1400 sl bontrager but stuck at the seat post I'm not sure if it's a 27mm or 27.2 mm anyone any ideas ?

LBS may well have a seatpost sizer - have you measured internal width with calipers

Old post should have it written/ stamped somewhere on it .

I would suspect that you have a 27.2. I had a 2004 1200 at that was 27.2
