Just bought this bike for 50 dls, needs a little work, currently its a single speed, just wondering is it worth to put money into it like 300 to get it going or buy something else?

Hi cycleops, as you can see I took the bike for a full tune up and added some gears so now it's a 1x7, now I want to change the crank so I can have 14 or 21 but don't have a clue where to find it, I found a bike on eBay and got a pic of what I'm looking for and here it is
