Trek 1200 vs Mudguards

Does anyone know whether a Trek 1200 will take guards I've bought a 2006 version as a winter bike and was wondering?

Does it have mudgard eyes at the front & rear drop outs?

It won't take full length guards, the clearences are too tight. Your best be are race blades.

I have a Trek 1200 and there was no way SKS P35s were going on even though the frame and fork has eyes. There is just not enough clearence with the standard tyres or Michelin pro races.

I did hear you can get Salmons on with 20c tyres but frankly I wouldn't want to ride such a set-up.

I think raceblades are your best option and accept that you just aren't going to stay completely dry.

Thanks guys, I thought it looked a bit tight for full mudguards. Race blades it will be then.
