Transfil Flying Snakes Cable sets

Hi, Has anyone tried these out. I want something decent but don't like the look of the Gore ones. I'm looking at the Kevlar ones both for brakes and gears - but not the sealed versions as they are for a road bike.
I know a lot of people just change their cables once a season rather than buying more expensive.

Anyway your thoughts please..............

Not used them myself, but a riding buddy had them and used them in some pretty nasty conditions and was more than happy with them.
