Not sure if saw this but Thymen Arensmen signed an extension at Ineos till 2028 despite his Dad's hissy fit at the start of the Giro
Signed 29 year old Victor Langellotti from Burgos ?
They could do with Tarling taking gold at the TT next weekend and getting a result sharpish !

That wouldn't be that big a result for such a big team, as the Olympic ITT points (455 for a win) are in between an E3-level (400) and a Quebec-level (500) one-day race win.

I agree with others above: Ineos need some Grand Tour GC leaders if they want to be challenging for first place instead of settling for their current third place. That's where the big points are. Can they afford to sign any? Do they still have the ability to develop any?

They're currently not far behind Visma, but Visma had a disappointing tour GC for understandable reasons and look likely to win or challenge well in the rest of the season, whereas it's less obvious who might win what how for Ineos except Tarling and Ganna and they're both TTers. Narvaez? Rivera? There are five teams less than a decent Vuelta behind Ineos who could overtake them with a GC win and some stages and jersey days.

Read Dan Bensons latest article on substack today.

It sounds like there’s no one person making the decisions then sticking to them. He quotes G saying this as well.

They’re also missing Portal and Kerrison, Ellingworth too. It sounds like they’ve no direction, no plan.

I’m wondering if Ratcliffe will get fed up let them go in a couple of years.
