Is it just me, or does anyone else automatically think "you're guilty of something" every time they hear a cyclist use the word?

(As an aside, I had always thought it was an Italian word, but it turns out it's Spanish - who'da thought?)

I assume you're referring to Pozzato being tranquillo? It is Italian too Noodles with a double 'L'.

Yes, I was reading the Pozzato article and when he used the word I thought "by golly, there's a chap I wouldnae trust to look after my pet hamster". I cannae think of anyone who has not be accused or found guilty of doping using it.

As for it also being an Italian word all I can say is - "Those pesky southern europeans and their similar words but with different letters added or omitted. grrrr."

I was thinking the latter when I started the thread, so maybe I need to changed the title to the Italian spelling?
But then I'd have to amend the OP so there was no reference to it being a Spanish word, and the subsequent replies would look really daft....best leave it be.

Probably not worth the effort, though full marks for thinking it through. Definitely showing more iniiative this school year Noodles. Keep up the good work.
