Hello, I'm looking to buy a book to follow a training plan. What is your recommendation between these two?

Regards! ;).

Thank you for your opinion. This year I'm using a book to train where if it takes time for it. For the next season I'ill training with the Carmichael (TCC) book to see the results.

The TCC system gives good results for the races?.

Thanks! ;).

TCC plans definitely work...the workouts are not easy though

The plans last for around 10-12 weeks, with 2-3 high-intensity workouts each week.

After the plan ends, you will need 6-8 weeks of less intense cycling (e.g. endurance and tempo rides) to recover and maintain some fitness. This is explained in the book, however, there is no plan in the book for this period, so you will just have to work this out for yourself.

After 6-8 weeks of less intense workouts, your legs should feel fresh again, and you can then select another high-intensity plan to take you to the next level :okay:

Ohhh...it looks good the TCC system. I'll have to buy the book and read to learn .

Training plan for what purpose?

For a marathon 3 days. Is an MTB marathon.

So a three day stage race then. In which case, focus on regular, consecutive hard rides, which match the duration you will be riding for...

this is worth a read for £2

Just adopting this way of doing things myself

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BBADT1A/ref=rdr_ext_sb_ti_sims_3

same principle as TCC, about 6 hours a week or less, but doesnt list any plans to follow

Is a good price!. I think It will be a guide to squeeze the time in sports.

Probably I buy the Carmichael book. I want to read your method and see the results...

People say it works. I'll see to see if it's true .
