I am in the planning stage of a cycle ride covering most of England and am looking at trailers to put camping gear etc in.
I am after opinions on single wheel or two wheel?
Never had trailer before..
many thanks.

Single wheel is more commonly chosen for touring.

One of the snags of touring with a trailer is the amount of stuff you can carry means that you do take it instead of paring it down to the basics, they can get very heavy.

(I will say I've been known to take about 40kg of 'stuff' the majority of which I could easily have dispensed with but it was luxurious when I finally set the tent up)

The two trailers I use are the Radical Cyclone and the Carry Freedom

The Cyclone is brilliant as with the wheels removed it is a holdall and has no issue with hotels and / or trains

THe Carry Freedom remains as a flatbed, but is more manageable than the Bob Yak or other one wheel trailers
