Trailer Hitch

I have a trailer that I use to carry our dogs in similar to this

Unfortunately I have lost the hitch connection - the part that fixes to the rear wheel and am having trouble finding a replacement.

Does anybody know where I can get one from? - I have already tried the suppliers but to no avail.

I can't tell from your link what type of mount you have for your trailer. The halford's type is easily available from many suppliers including EBC . The older Halford's type seems more difficult to source though I have seen a US supplier on ebay other than those there are many different style fittings and I'd need to know which fitting you have to help further. Mine is th older Halford,s type and would be tempted to try to make one if I needed a replacement.

Thanks for the links Pete

I could of course get the trailer out of storage and find the hitch had been put inside the trailer after all and was never lost in the first place.
Only wasted half a day scouring t'internet

I've just done a bit more searching as I was thinking of getting a second hitch for GF's son's bike. The older Halford's hitch is known as a "Coupler Attachment" and made by InStep for Schwinn trailers. I can only find links to US suppliers. So he can whistle for it or buy his own if he wants to take granddaughter for a ride.
