Great Britain has sent a small and inexperienced team of just five men to Beijing to contest the final World Cup round, which commences on Friday in China. George Atkins, Mark Christian, Jon Mould, Luke Rowe and Erick Rowsell are the quintet, although I'm not sure who will be riding what.

The schedule for the three days is as follows:

Friday 22 January
Women's individual pursuit
Men's points race
Women's scratch
Men's team sprint
Men's individual pursuit
Women's sprint

Saturday 23 January

Women's time trial
Men's team pursuit
Women's points race
Men's keirin
Men's time trial
Women's team sprint
Men's scratch

Sunday 24 January
Men's madison
Women's team pursuit
Women's keirin
Men's sprint

There appears to be just the one televised broadcast, so try to catch it. It will be on British Eurosport 2 between 0800 and 1030 GMT on Sunday 24 January. It is scheduled as live coverage, although usually these Sunday morning programmes are some live events interspersed with highlights from the two previous days.

Unique way of posting the results SM but at least you are keeping us informed. I've not been able to see any of the racing out here as it's only on one of the Beijing Channels here in China and I don't have that one in Guangzhou. The only question I have is why did we send a team without any of our top riders being included!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably because our slots for the events at the World Championships are all pretty much guaranteed, and most of the big names therefore can't really be bothered to fly all the way out there and deal with the jetlag/travelling/upheaval etc. if they've already qualified for the champs. So it presents a good opportunity for the younger riders to compete at a top-level event.

Eurosport 2 are still showing bloody tennis. The cycling may well not be on at all the way it's going.

Edit: It wasn't on. I've written an e-mail to Eurosport. ****ing amateurs.
