Duffy was just saying ' kids you must never descend with your hands on the stem because you have no control and then bang... next shot shows a dozen riders crashed on a nasty bend many looking badly injured.

What about the crash near the finish involving Fothen. Both jumped back on immediately without checking head, heart or balls. It it were me I'd probably fainted with fright!!

They did not even seem to stop sliding before they were back on the bike.

I have enjoyed watching this, I wonder whether the shorter stages, as compared to TdeF, make for a better race.

I think I prefer the commentator who was on with Brian Smith on Monday and Tuesday to Mr Duffield. Mr Duffield gets distracted very easily, IMO, says I diplomatically.

Yes Speicher, I've been listening to him for over ten years and as he ages he seems to lose the plot very easily.
This is not to down the man, as if I reach his advanced years will I be able to even remember my own name?
