Hi,
I'm looking for a little local knowledge for a tour of the Black Mountains that a friend and I are doing in a few weekends time please.
We are doing the 120 mile route from the Pendragon CC website (AberG, Hay, Brecon, Trecastle, Glyntawe, Heol Senni, Penderyn, Merthyr, Talybont, Ebbw and back to AberG) but splitting it over 2 days. We were planning to follow the route but the places we have booked our accomodation would make the 2nd day a fair bit longer than the 1st day so were considering doing the route in reverse. Are there any reasons not to do this or benefits of going this way round? I quite like the idea of finishing the weekend with a cruise down Gospel Pass rather than starting the weekend with a climb up it!
Any local knowledge greatly appreciated
Thanks
Alan
