Expensive entry fee but a good challenge - I'm tempted!

I plan on doing it - it's on my doorstep - the distence is very appealing!

I love the fact that they show a couple of track elevation charts. It all looks very impressive until you realise that the y-axis is is tens of meters and that the big lumps shows an elevation of a whole 60 meters!
It's a good distance but (without wanting to open the whole sportive can of worms) £45!!!
I'm sure people will be queuing around the block to take part.

I heard rumours that this event was actually cancelled?

the 2015 event is now 200 miles long and is reduced to £36 on 4th Jan only - enter on the website.
Still expensive but for 200 miles it's just about acceptable at the reduced price - I'm very tempted again
