I am going tmrw out on the Moors somewhere and then across to Whitby near the Abbey😊

Are you driving or train-ing between the two? I'm not sure on what duration they are closing roads ahead of it (I assume on rolling basis) but parts both A171 and A174 are on the route, so you may be cutting it fine to get into Whitby, if you've waited to see them pass by "on t'moors somewhere" depending when and where that is.

Last year when I watched it (it came right through my village), the rolling road closure was about 15 minutes ahead of the first rider.

I will be on my ADV350 scooter 🛵...which is brilliant btw ....should be doable.

It's also live on British Cycling's YouTube channel if you fancy a better picture.
They're not streaming any more of it on YouTube.

ITV4 picture quality did used to be poor but isn't it broadcast in HD these days?

It IS nice to have a British tour but I find it hard to get excited about it compared to the 3 Grand Tours.
Its in HD on Freesat, SD Freeview
Agree it doesn't come over as particularly entertaining even on a hilly stage and bit like watching a sprint stage in a grand tour
Might be a question of presentation.

Had a lovely day in Kelso yesterday Sunshine and no rain. Got there early saw all team presentations and roll out, intermediate sprint and finish. Lovely walk down by the river in between.
The day was slightly marred by noisy protestors objecting to the presence of team Israel Premier Tech.
