Tour of Britain 2011 - Stage 2 Kendal to Blackpool

Even though the tour will pass within about 10 meters of my house this year I am thinking of going up to Kendal for the start of this stage, is anybody else from the NW planning anything similar?

I hope to get up there and then back to Blackpool for the finale.

Hi - I live in Kendal and have volunteered as a Marshal - Hope to be at Abbott Hall that morning. If you come - parking will be a problem - I suggest parking on the southern edge of the town and walking in.

Was a shame, though the riders did a lap around Kendal.
Blackpool was a laugh though and Cavendish came and gave a talk to spectators in the middle of a Tower Ballroom Tea Dance, where he revealed he was a dancer in his youth.
