I turned the TV on just as that happened. It looked like the motorbike rider was to blame for that. He was moving left on a narrow road with the bunch going by!

Great ride, and great finish; I remember Tanfield from last year at the Tour Series in Aberdeen where he an 2 other Canyon riders wear in a 4 man break and he rode on the front and killed any chance of the peloton catching them. Impressive stuff and even more impressive today.

he pulled the breakaway nearly all day and the way he stayed seated ,still on the hoods and just powered past the others to take the win, that was fantastic
