Tour de Romandie 2018 **Spoilers**

Starts tomorrow. There is a punditry comp. for this, for those that are interested.

Prologue looks interesting - only 4km but with a cobbled 400m 10% climb just before the finish.

Whole race looks like it has been designed to be pretty brutal. Stage 4 is a monster.

Cracking win for Bling. Looks like he's getting back to his best.

I only dipped in and out today but it was an odd course. I was surprised to see so many riders on TT bikes given the turns and lumps, but I guess that's why they're pros. I'd have been in the bushes long before the final climb.

That course packed a lot of interest in, in only 4km

Dan Martin on the attack with 10km to go.

Now Buchmann is having a go. This is a lively finish.

And Fraile wins with a powerful sprint. Good finish.

Good second place for Colbrelli as well. I ruled him out in the punditry because of the hilly finish but @brommers picked him, so chapeau. I picked Rui Costa who finished in third place though.

I also picked Matthews, who I thought would do well today, but he wasn't even in the bunch at the finish.

I expected Mathews to do well today , he seems to have been getting over the lumpy stuff recently.

You would have thought that Colbrelli would have beaten Fraile in a sprint finish.

I was surprised by how well Fraile sprinted too.
Peter Kennaugh is well off the pace these days - hope he comes good.

I think that finish was a bit steeper than it looked, didn't really suit Colbrelli.

Just switched on for today's stage - with 16km to go, De Gendt is being chased by Nathan Brown (only other survivor of the break), with the peloton nearly four minutes back. Classic De Gendt.
