Tour De France ... Bid by Glasgow

Was listening to Radio Scotland yesterday morn and they were interviewing the development Officer for Glasgow who said they were going to be biding for a stage of the Tour de france


Previously stages of the famed Tour de france came here to the Uk , more notably SE England yet why bid for a stage of the world famous road race .. when the name of the event clearly states the blatent obvious Tour of France .

.. if people in Goverment want to see Road races back on the road in the UK then why in the chuff do they not bring back .. the Tour of Britain ..by attracting proper sponsorship and get it established again
