Tour de France 2016 (watching)

I've just organised a trip for eight of us to cycle over (with assistance from Brittany ferries) to watch some of the first few stages of next year's tour. Surprisingly, I managed to book four rooms at the Campanile hotel which is virtually on the finish line of stage two in Cherbourg (although they'd hiked up the price a bit).
If anyone else is considering doing something similar there are still rooms available but I'd think they'll sell out fairly soon.

I have told myself I cannot afford a trip to France next year (buying a new house) but maybe a little mini-jaunt to Normandy would be fun!

I have a holiday home (hopefully, letting it out as a gîte next year) in Normandy. When I was there a few weeks ago there were already signs up advertising the route. It passes less than 20km from my place, so I'm planning to be there. Maybe leading a group ride?
