touchscreen friendly suggestions

is there any chance that the username|inbox|alerts menu events could be changed from hover to a click event? and the click to a doubleclick?

its a bit clunky on touchscreens as it gets confused as to whether to load and reveal the drop list or to load the screen with the alert list in it.

It's a known issue - you have to tap it once to activate it, then wait for the ajax event to be triggered (the tab goes pale) then tap again to get it to roll down.

AFAIK the code is being reviewed for the next update to try and cure it.

XF 1.1.1 update announced today - with a bug fix for Android (and possibly other) phones for popup menus.

I'll try to get it installed in the next week or so and we'll see if it cures the "touch" oddness for our phones!!
