I just acquired a new torque wrench - 3-15Nm
However, I understand that given torques are for ungreased bolts. But, I like to grease my bolts. How should I adjust the torque for this?

I just tried a 9Nm bolt on my seatpost-to-saddle, and it felt like it was going too tight. I backed off to 5Nm, 'click', up to 7 Nm, just about 'clicked', but 9 Nm felt too tight and never clicked.

Am I just being over cautious?

I grease and do to the "recommended" amount. Never had any slips.

I always grease and the only time I've had a problem was with an aluminium bolt on the bottom of Mazzochi suspension forks that the manufacturer admitted had the wrong torque specified in the manual.
