Topeak Road Morph with Gauge - next step?

I bought a Topeak Road Morph with Gauge from wiggle on 27th April 2009 (or possibly 9th February 2009). The part that attaches the T-handle to the pump shaft and also allows it to fold has fallen out while I've been on the road.

I contacted wiggle asking
if it is possible to buy a replacement part from them and if not, suggest where I might be able to obtain one. They replied that Topeak do not make available the part in question.

Does anyone have any suggestions, please? It's a good pump which has seen only light use and it will cost £25 - £30 to replace.

Out of interest, how long would you expect a pump to last?

The UK distributor is Extra UK Ltd, tel: 01933 6721 or email: info@extrauk.co.uk

You could try telling them how pleased you were with the pump and how disappointed you are that it has now broken. With a bit of luck, they will either send you the part, offer to fix the pump or send you a new one!

That's very helpful, Colin. Thanks very much.

(Hope you're keeping well. I enjoyed your Season of Mists write-up but it confirmed my belief that I'm not 'match-fit' yet. Still finding it difficult to get the miles in).

I'll be struggling too if this rain keeps up!

I'm planning to do another Waddington ride on Sunday 23rd and you'd be welcome to join us. That will be a lot easier than SoM, though we will still ride out over the hills.
