Hi Guys,

Which of the two pumps in the title do you suggest?

I am looking for a pump to carry on the bike, and unsure which of the two to go for?

I would like on to be able to get me up to 120psi?

Many Thanks.

i have both, both good, but i prefer the leyzine in my bag. it's simpler to use and has a better quality of build.

Got Lezyne pressure drive pump. I swear by the Lezyne as it has got the hose which stops you from damaging the valve stems by screwing onto them. Other pumps that go straight on to the stem can sometimes damage them.

I have a Road Drive. I love the flexible hose. With a fixed head pump, I broke a couple of valves and got fed up. Yes, I know that if you take care, fixed heads are fine....but who takes care when they are in a hurry, and it's raining? BTW, the frame mounting that fits to the side of a bottle cage works really well.

The Road Drive is a beautiful piece of engineering too.

Lover of things that come in 3's
They were both part of a test in the most recent CTC magazine and the Topeak came out ahead on ability to get to higher pressures.

I don't personally know the other one but bought the Road Morph to try out and now own 3 of them.

I have used a Pocket Rocket which died and still use a Turbo Morph on my touring bike, however, I have since brought two Lezyne pumps for myself and two for colleagues at work. I wouldn't bother going back to a Topeak pump now. The Lezyne pumps are much better in my experience.

I have only used the road morph and i like the foot peg that allows you to get your body weight over the pump rather than trying to squeeze the pump and hold it steady. The morph also has a hose to make it easy to connect and stop the chance of twisting the valve .

+1 for the Road Morph, does 120psi easily.

I've never damaged a valve with this type of pump so I'm not sure how others are managing too?

Build quality is absolutely fine too IME

Never tried the Road Morph, but totally underwhelmed by a previous Topeak mini pump I had.
The Lezyne OTH is fantastically efficient, & looks neater on the bike than the Morph too.
