Probably one of the most useful bits of kit I've bought and for £10 a bit of a bargain

This is the small version 0.66 litres but can carry a lot of stuff and has a rear tab for attaching a light.

I just got one of those, yet to put on the bike (as not ridden since it turned up in the post).

By the way, that lock wouldn't stop anyone with tools - I had one far far bigger on my bike which was nicked within 15 minutes (in fact, I expect the cutting of the lock took less than 15 seconds  )

The lock is for just popping into a shop to get water etc... just a visual deterrent to the opportunist. I never leave any of my bikes locked up for long periods unattended

Fair enough - it will probably be fine for a couple of minutes unless you are VERY unlucky!
Pretty much as I was, must have been some scumbag just patrolling around with wire cutters

I've been using that saddle bag for years, now on my third. (I'd worn holes in the last one with my tyre levers, the first one was the quick fit plastic buckle and that broke in a crash.)
I do find I have to shorten the velcro strap for the seatpost, and I'd prefer it without the elastic section, but these are quibbles.

First class piece of kit - used one for years - have the large version, which expands to be even bigger - and in addition to what you carry, I'll have a couple of chewy bars, a Topeak mini tool, small swiss army knife and house key onboard. Still room to spare for any other bits I might want.

I have used one of these for the past few years too, keeps the water out very well too so a great place to keep the phone safe.
