Ordered a new chainset from them on Thursday evening, got it delivered this afternoon (Wednesday), and I'm in Singapore!!!!

I've always been reluctant to order stuff from mail order out here. How much was the postage, ZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15GBP, which was easily offset by the fact I don't have to pay VAT.

In fact, it ended up being cheaper to have it shipped out here than to buy it in the UK!

Sourcing some parts can take ages out here, so it's good to know that service can be so good!

Talking of goods from Parker, I ordered some pedals from them on Tuesday and the online tracking says the order is "pending". Does this mean they are waiting for out of stock items to come in?? I chose priority despatch.

I had the same issue with Parkers and emailed them. They replied that it was because they were out of stock but they then shipped the item the same day Luckily I didn't pay for priority despatch.

At the same time I bought a saddle from Chain Reaction on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered the next day which I think is pretty impressive.
