Top helmets

I have a Giro Transfer helmet which looked great on the shelf but now seems ridiculously bulbous on my head. I'm after a low profile road helmet that doesn't have this effect on my head, preferably for under £60ish. Anyone have any advice on what to purchase? I know I need to visit more shops and try stuff on first but any help would be appreciated

Unless you are racing and have to wear one, don't. They are effin useless anyway.

Ah. Thanks. I do debate that over and over again myself as we do on here every so often but just now I've decided I'd quite like one, and the question is- which?

What i have trouble with ,is the stick out bit at the back,i mean how much difference can that make to our slipstream at normal daily commute speeds? unless your a racer ,i cant see the point of it.?
