not sure about no. 3?

Doesn't it show patience and courtesy towards other road users?

I wouldn't list number 3 either but it can sometimes be annoying (but thats because of me  ) and no more than that. I feel guilty when I've got a car behind me on a quiet country road and incorrectly (but I can't help it, its in my nature  ) perceive I'm holding them up and I've never been good with the guilty feeling

Edit actual thinking about it the only think that irks me on that list is the 4x4 thing when they refuse to go three inches off road in their 'off road vehicle'.

That is your fault! They are being courteous. Wave them through and give a cheery wave as they go past - the world will then spin just a tad more evenly.....

with 5, putting a wheel up on the grass at pace is a baaaad plan  obv when meeting a car its daft not to but theres room for a cyclist and theres a big change in grip and resistance between grass and tarmac.

Depends on the distance by which they hold back in my view. Some hang well back (I like that and try to do the same when I drive), others seem to want to try almost to push one along with their front bumper.

Lol it depends how narrow the road is. The bloke at 5:18 in this vid didn't move an inch (PS if you get seasick don't watch the first 5mins), at least the bloke in the second car (circa 6:30) did move over that inch. Chopped off the video because it didn't fit the music was a small car (a micra iirc) who moved completely up onto the verge it made me feel guilty, I felt like I was bullying them out of the way

I had no.3 the other day big merc behind me on a country lane. I slowed right down pulled right to the side of the road and waved him through but he wouldn't pass. Can't say it happens that often but it was annoying.

Always give a cheery wave of thanks when in a number 3 situation, like I would like if the roles were reversed.

Number 6 - head winds!

Number 7 - Cross winds.

Number 8 - Sometimes I with bikes were self maintaining and lubricating cos I can be a lazy b**ger. :-)

number 9 - I'm on a roll; posted 1 and this is second edit - other cyclists who don't reply to your 'morning' or 'afternoon'

numebr 10 - cars who overtake you on a bend and then are then too close to you when they do cos they can't see round the bend. Kind of two there.

HLab - but at about 5.13 you rode straight past the only passing place on that bit of road, with the car already clearly visible in front. Where did you expect him to go? Sorry, but from here it looks as though you were playing a game of chicken there.
