Very interesting comparison of different countries...a bit of a surprise to me.

It does go to show that wealth is not the criteria at all. The comment about the 'strange' Dutch was illuminating.

Indicative of a generally more cyclocentric society - as is the tendency towards bike theft.
I thought the Norway one was going to say "in Norway you have a 4% chance of getting your rear wheel stolen if you leave it left unnattended for too long".

The picture in the Dutch entry was taken at delft train station. The racks in the photo were installed in a couple of days and are temporary since there's a big renovation project ongoing. It's quite impressive how quickly they manage to install new bike parking each time a new phase of the renovation begins.
