Tooting Bec Incident

Nasty accident at Tooting Bec this even.

Road going South completly blocked off.

Two Police Vans, Fire Engine, couple of Ambulances.

Couldn't see anything (emergency vehicles had understandably formed a high cordon) but there was a large stationary truck that seemed to have been involved.

Whole scene very quiet and eerie.

I'll be heading down that way in 30 mins, if I find out anything, I'll post.

OT, I used to live in Ansell road when I was a student! Spent many, many hours playing pool in the pub that I now can't remember what it's called.

I remember going to the Wheatsheaf one Friday night and being almost raped by a big randy lass, wanted to shag me in the toilets!! I almost did as well, but decided not to in the end as I was there with my girlfriend!

When I got to the junction at Tooting Bec Tube there were long delays due to emergency road works and temp traffic lights were in operation.

I could have missed it, or it could have been that the emergency services had left, but I didn't see the aftermath of an RTA.

There was probably a gap in the traffic so someone took the oppertunity to build some more flats!
