tool under forks ?

I have a voodoo bokor, and im about to buy a boardman, both have a tool like a screwdriver under the fork, cant find out in my voodoo book what its for, im not the cleverest when it comes to stuff like that.is it air fork or disk brake related . cheers chaps

Is it a Torx screwdriver for the brake pad adjustment?

My BB7's are adjustable by hand but also have Torx adjustment.

The adjusters can get gunked up with crud which make them hard to turn by hand.

Does the bike have a jack n wheel-brace under the seat !

Is it a red shiny bit that push fits into the bottom of the fork leg? If so, it's the rebound adjuster knob.
