I recently bought my first proper bike... a specialized allez elite ...which I absolutely love... they came with a pair of cheap crappy pedals with toe clips ( which I'm lead to believe is standard practice ) which to be fair are ok but I guess they'll need replacing sooner or later...I think mine are just about ok size wise but was wondering as I'll be replacing them at some point if you could get bigger ones so my feet slide in a little further.
I don't really want to go down the clipless route just yet as I quite like the clips...any help would be much appreciated

You can get larger ones. Depending on how far you want your feet further in, have you considered spacers?

My toe clips were a bit tight to begin with, but they mold/stretched to my shoes with use. However, I like to use shoes with no laces (Velcro straps) as I had a nasty near mishap when my lace got caught in the clip strap when I stopped! Just managed to yank it loose as I collapsed towards the ground.

 Shouldn't laugh. Was that a clipful moment?

Any ideas where they sell them I'd like new pedals with the large clips...
Try Spa, traditional kit, call them for recommendations http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m2b0s168p0
