I was sent out shopping this afternoon, Aldi and Asda both had massive queues so I ended up at Lidl.

Wait for it, they do Walker's not in sixes, but packs of eight!

Get in! Morrisons delivered some bags of mixed ones, you know doritos, chipsticks etc in same packet. Yummamungo

Today I bought some rollers so that I can ride at home. Also, my 'new' hound has finally learned a bit of recall.

Today I bought some rollers so that I can ride at home. Also, my 'new' hound has finally learned a bit of recall.

I got the turbo out on Thursday, according to Garmin it's the first time in nearly five years that I've slung my leg over.

As I now have time to sit on the sofa in front of mapometer I’m finding new shirt ride routes in the local area which are more of a novelty to ride than my usual routes

Got a letter from my bank (who when pressed a few years ago denied I had any recourse for missold PPI) stating I'm due a refund of £1800. Result (minus the fees for G Brooke's, but no problem)

Result! I got £1600 from a car finance company totally out of the blue. Funny how you kind of feel grateful even though they are criminals

Went on my weekly shopping trip yesterday and managed to buy pasta and flour. I haven’t seen either since the panic buying started. I’m easily pleased 😂

The shelves in Lidl were about a quarter full with dried pasta, and they had plenty of the fresh filled and chilled type.

I was thinking about this whilst out riding today, what is the perceived best time to go shopping to avoid the queues, the later the better I would have thought, but then likely to have less left.

That was my thinking too. Lidl shuts at 22:00 Mon-Sat so I cycled down there one evening at 21:30 only to find it shut - they are closing at 20:00 for the duration of the pandemic!
