swee said:Agreed, but pinch flats are a different matter. I had a bunch of cheap, lightweight tubes that punctured on a regular basis - 2 on the same ride. They were the right size for the tyre but just seemed to go bang when I hit a pothole. I changed to a heavier duty vredestein tube and never had a puncture with those tyres again.
