   but dont tell the boss....
Trek 7100FX, getting a bit tired but still a good bike.
Several issues...
Rear wheel slightly out of true, tweeked it a bit and made it a whole lot better. Not perfect, but better.

Rear hub bearings a little loose, duly adjusted and greased.
Bottom bracket a little tired and wobbly, replaced (after i remembered which way the threads went  ) Bl00dy hell, cartridge BBs are (or can be) expensive (or perhaps just more than i expected)

Crankset properly degunked and cleaned while off the bike. (what a difference that makes)

V brake arms getting corroded, swapped a decent alloy pair off a donor bike i have .

Brakes set up and adjusted.

Chain given some TLC and oil

A good clean and polish.

And getting paid for it as well    My perfect way of spending time at work.

Hope you used a generous supply of company hand cleaner and bathroom towels - we wouldn't want the workplace to get grubby now would we.

I used to do that as often as I could in my old job.

Why I moved companies for a "challenge" I dont know! Now I have to spend my weekends or evenings sorting out the bike.

You havnt seen my workshop  . I hate unidiness at work but struggle to keep the place tidy if theres multiple jobs on. About 16 feet of workbench...and i struggle to find a clear couple of feet.

My boss did catch me once doing something or other on a bike...'bloody hell...its more like Halfords in here' he said.
I didnt know whether to be embarrassed, happy or indignant. Halfords i ask you !!!!

Same here, im fortuneate to be able to store my bike in a heated laundry, great for drying the bike after wet commutes and as i work 24hr shifts it is dry the following morning when i spend some time cleaning lubing etc. Great workshop for repairs too.
I wont mention the housekeeper who often washes , drys and has been known to iron my clothing.
