tik tok shop bargains

mini ck wanst to buy something off tik tok as its a "bargain ", trouble is i dont trust these bargains that sound to good to be true and i dont like handing my details over to him to order on his phone , you cant use the tik tok app on anything else but a smartphone so although i installed tok tok on the pc it doesnot open from the link .I would rather spend a bit more from known ( to me ) sources .
Am i being paranoid ?

not paranoid. I wouldn’t trust it. The classic line about something being a bargain only if you need it applies also. So many times I’ve bought something at a great price, only to rarely use it. Hard to describe those as bargains

If you suspect it’s a Chinese or Indian company or anything outside Europe I definitely wouldn’t be handing over my CC details. If you have PayPal however you should be safe. As for the product itself I’d be sceptical as it will probably only last a few days.
