I am rebuilding an old Caleton, I have a pair of XR18's (Weinmann) the rims have been pretty robust (apart from the large count of broken spokes on the rear), that I can use but the front hub is shot, and I can currently get a front Tiagra pretty cheap, set of spokes should be about £12

I might have something in the back of the shed you can have for nowt if you want Nige......It'll be perfectly functional......

@Banjo, thanks for the input, I have RS10's on my other bike they have done nearly 7,000 miles since last May without a hitch till last Friday when a front spoke went.
The Carleton will be used just for pleasure I thought a higher spoke count would be better, but as some one else is interested it the hub, by the time I have sorted the front and the back as I cant find a rear for less than £20 and money is an issue, I have seen some R501's for £66, so I might opt for them if I can get enough money before they sell out, its not a major problem either way as the carleton is some way off being on the road, its still needs a colour coat yet.
