Thudbuster/Brooks combination

Hi folks.

I own a hybrid of which I affectionately refer to as 'The Armchair'. Its as big as an armchair, its as fast as an armchair and, most importantly, its as comfortable as an armchair. I'm a slow but steady kind of a guy so it meets my needs perfectly.

I currently have a Brooks 67 and was considering picking up a thudbuster seatpost to make the ride even more comfortable. My worry is that I am quite short (5'7'') and by the looks of things the post would make the seat so high I couldn't reach the pedals.

Are there any short riders like me who have tried this combination of components?

Cheers,

Dan.

Problem is that your saddle is sprung so the 2 would counteract each other. If your ride is harsh I would recommend looking at your tyre pressures and possibly fitting a wider tyre. I have a Thudbuster on my MTB and it is a great bit of kit.
