Three weeks in and first Strava KOM achieved!

Hi all.

Have only been road-biking for about three weeks now and absolutely loving it! Sold my mountain bikes about six years ago after a bad 'off' which broke my wrist, but always had a hankering for another bike. Anyway, out for a 23.4 mile 'pootle' earlier today with my mate and stunned to learn when I got home that I'd achieved my first Strava KOM title!! Ok, so it was achieved on a downhill section rather than uphill, but they all count, don't they???? ;-)

Wouldn't mind a go at that segment myself. Private road and no vehicles, dead straight downhill... not too many like that!

It was only after I got home and checked my figures that it struck me that hitting a pothole at my maximum speed on that section of 51mph would have been mighty sore!! :-(
