Cleaned up the new Grand Prix today, and put on new tyres and tubes, fitted bottle cages, C nuts, leather saddle. Took a few photos

Took the "new" Grand Prix out for a ten mile ride today....bloody lovely! Back home and a bit more polishing

Those red grands prix make me feel nostalgic. I bought one 2nd hand for £25 as a stop gap about 30 years ago and used it for 20 years. It lived on the balcony, out of the rain but in the morning sunshine. At the end of that time it was red on one side and faded pink on the other.
