I'm selling the fork and brake I used to convert my cheap mountain bike to a rigid commuter, before I sold the bike in its original mountain bike setup.
The fork is a generic steel 26" v-brake compatible fork. Black in colour, good condition, with the usual marks around the dropouts. It's a 1 1/8th threadless steerer, cut to 210mm.
I'm asking for £10 + postage, which I estimate to be around £5 for mainland UK.
The V-brake is a Clarks unit with all metal arms. It's only had light usage, and as with the forks, is in good condition. Comes with mounting bolts, and I can throw in a set of standard V-Brake pads for free! No noodle included though, sorry!
Asking £5 + £2 postage.
I can sell them together or separately, save on postage if bought together! Would make an ideal purchase to transform that old short travel MTB in to a commuter.
