Can't help on price or model specifics but be aware that (to the best of my knowledge) the brand doesn't really exist any more; being a house-brand of CRC / Wiggle and going south when they did.

I think the name was bought by scumbagmikeashley when he swallowed up most of the company's assets / IP and there's been a bit of talk about the brand returning; although whether it would be anything like it was / would offer support for existing models is anyone's guess.

So yeah.. generally highly-regarded bikes but spares could be a bugger. Not sure how market pricing is reflecting this; however as always completed listings on ebay are your friend ;)

Thanks, didn't know that about the brand. Been to the local mountain bike park and so many kids have Nukeproofs. Will think about it.

No worries - glad to help

FWIW I bought a Ragley (Nukeproof's sister company, also now defunct) MTB in the great CRC-carcass-picking; however being a hard-tail really the only propriatory bits are the frame and the derailleur hanger, so spares availability's not a big concern.

Obviously on a full-sus bike there are likely to be a lot more non-standard bits so more chance of getting stuck for replacements; although realistically I don't know how much of a problem this is likely to be.

I asked AI to show the 'real' me.
It was a while ago but I purchased a full sus Marin for £400 which had a good spec. Good enough for one of the locals to nick it from outside the town hall. Seems to be a bit of inflation in there, given that second hand prices are on their way down.

That's a shame - Nuke Proof used to make some nice hubs in the 1990s. Another debased brand like Muddy Fox.

Ok

Sure, any idea on a better full suspension Enduro bike for similar money? Or brand new up to 2k ish?

Maybe this: https://www.paulscycles.co.uk/bikes...ntain-slayer-a50-enduro-bike-greyblack__13803

That’s better value for money

It's for my teenage lad.

It looks good to me but I am not an expert. Also the seller has seemingly never sold anything via this account at least.

Anyone got an idea on this price?

I thought it was dear but googling it, its an expensive bike https://nukeproof.com/products/2021-mega-290-alloy

I don't know what the market puts it actually asks but a very rough rule of thumb is 50% overnight (post purchase) then 10% per annum, say if its 3 year old:
