Got caught in a hailstorm and then thunderstorm - thought that the rain had taken something out of me and I just wasn't up to my usual pace. And then after about 20 miles (a couple of miles from home) realised that one brake pad was rubbing on my rear wheel. Arg! Good workout though

How annoying! Still at least it wasn't just your legs.

haha, that's happened to me before too. I was really lucky with the rain today. Started my ride in glorious sunshine. By the time I had a coffee break it was tipping down while I was cosy in the cafe. It stopped just as I was ready to leave and then started the minute I got in the front door. Jammy!

Went out to get my bike out, looked up, went back indoors again!

I was glad I had - I'm short of equipment for those conditions, don't have an aqualung, flippers or a wetsuit. A helmet would have been necessary - to keep the hailstones off.

Wife's away and I'm free most of next week, so hoping for good weather for a few days of it.
