Why you should always wear a helmet. Or at least look where you're going.

What would have made this video worthy of a "lol" from me is if he had stood up and banged his head, and fallen over.

That would have been youtube gold.

I can't say how disappointed I was to see that the rider wasn't wearing a helmet.

This is the proof I have long longed for (can I say that?).

I have maintained for years now that anyone planning to ride flat-out into a road sign should do so only when wearing a helmet.

This is my proof. Proof of what, I do not know..... but proof nonetheless.

My data support whatever it is I'm trying to say and I was once in the same lift as a guy who worked in an A&E Department - so I must be right.

So there you are... conclusively. This is all about helmets. I'm right. You're all wrong.

Anyone who even THINKS about disagreeing with me on this is exhibiting behaviour at odds with the values of this forum.

Funny video though.... Am I the only one who flinched at the moment of impact.... more than once?

Can I just say how nice it is to find someone else who knows that "data" is a plural?

I cannot see any thing funny really and symphatise with the rider as its just one of those stupid things you do.

I once tried to push a road works sign over many years ago when I was young and full of beer as I rode past it on my bike, next thing I knew I was sprawled across the road with my bike on top of me. I did not know it had been weighted down with a load of sandbags and was immovable and stopped me dead in my tracks.

Only joking on my first sentence, other peoples misfortune is always funny.
