Don't worry, I don't think it's even possible to get a jersey to match the colour of my main bike.. Think I should just stick to black!

What colour's your bike?

Some sort of mix between Khaki, off-green and gold..? I honestly have no idea how to describe it.

(Note, really old pic.. A lot has changed since then, including getting rid of that ugly saddle!)

You're right, I don't know what goes with that. At least your black jerseys go with the... handlebar tape?

I would love to join a cycling club, although there is only one around here and it isn't really a club as such, you fill in a membership/registration form and they have their own kit and everything but in terms of their activities, you turn up with £10.00 on a race (they do them every couple of weeks) and do it, no club rides or anything like that.

Well done for going and getting involved!

Not to piss on your parade but are you sure you averaged 20mph though? Especially on a hilly route?

lol, joining club will help you build up your speed and distance far quicker and better then some silly computer program.

For sure!

For sure!

It was probably more around 17 or 18, it was hilly at the start and some hills popped up at the end. Flat in the middle though.

Not trying to rain on your achievement, was just asking since 20mph average on a hilly route is pretty damn good going.

There was 15 of us, lots and lots of drafting going on and one person told me that a guy who was there was one of the coaches and he was pushing everyone to go harder.

Just found out my local club has an open invitation ride on Sunday the 16th, I'll be there!

32 miles at a relaxed pace, so nothing brutal.
