I bought a crank puller to add to the toolbox today... and am sizing up a rear dynamo light and cable to finish off my old Raleigh roadster.

I bought a pair of front and rear lights for a fiver from Aldi just in case a sudden down pour of darkness should occur whilst I am out on my bike.

The other day I bought some new bottom bracket bearings for my Holdsworth, caged variety so I let them loose and placed them into the cups with some lovely dark grey grease. Got it everywhere, hands, frame , doorhandles, the Wife will be pleased.

You can never have too many lights: I bought a "chinese special" cree LED job last week, it's like a mini sun! All I need is a big vintage case to cram it into and it'll be perfect

My partner is ecstatic (not really), though she's quite happy that we're gonna get a trip to Malvern to pick up the bike
