......and I am sitting here, pondering whether to attend to a ride I have been considering for some time now. With my work, I go along a route which is up and down for the last 3 miles or so with some serious hills.
I am working from 9am to 11am and then have a gap till 3pm, my next lesson. So...... should I give it a go between 11.30 and 3?, ( if the weather stays nice of course!)
I think the whole course will take me around 1.5 hours so plenty of time for a shower when I get back and a little rest.
Now there is also the question of my wife letting me go as we are the process of redecorating the hall. Tricky this one!!!!
On the other hand, there is always tomorrow...

Well where ever you are ... you are not here... we have had torrential deluges that would put off all but the most determined cyclist this morning ... in fact I've just checked the records for the last 12 months and only 2 months are wetter than the half of June we had had so far: January and last August! Go whilst the sun shines.... don't waste it....

I'm not far from Bristol, and it keeps p-----g down. Trying to decide whether 30 mile ride planned for this morning goes ahead. Will turn up at the start point with the route sheets and see if any other brave souls are venturing out. It is the sort of weather where it can be bone dry just 5 miles away.

Get out there!!

Am sitting here waiting for my porridge to go down before I go out. Several (hopefully) loops of Clent Hill await. Can't go tomorrow as we're meeting friends all day, so it's today or never!

And it's sunny

at the moment......

well, went for a ride but not the one I was hoping to do. Reason is: I drove it this morning and realised that I am not quite ready for it yet as I want to do it in one go.
At the moment, I am pretty sure I would have to stop somewhere along the way for a breather.
So I will keep practising lesser hills until my confidence overflows and then ........
Would be better if I had someone to go with thought!
The sun is still shining bright. Good old North Wales.

We went, we got quite wet, then the sun came out, we dried out. Great ride. No regrets.
