Zamira Hajiveva spent £16m over ten years in Harrods while living near the store.

Naturally jewellery came top of the list at £4.9m plus claimed elsewhere there was £30,000 for chocolates.
So besides the inevitable top end bikes orbthree do you think you could match this given this kind of funding?

I could, but it would do some good for worse off people.

I totally agree that kind of spending could help many good causes

In addition to the properties she bought she was only burning through about £100,000 a week, I think I may be able to do that, tell you what give me a few quid and I'll find out.

Like most jobs; It might start off as a challenge but after a while it would become second nature. And has the bonus that you get some really nice bikes.

Was that North Korean Air, Doc?
South Korean. It wasn't too bad on the way out - we had a 90 minute stop at Incheon IIRC.
Coming back, the schedules meant we had 10 hours or so in an airport hotel, which was OK.
The seats were quite uncomfortable, but I think they've got new planes now - we were on a 747-400 IIRC.

At least you got back in one piece. Which is the main thing. I hope they took good care of your Brompton too.

Edit: just so I’m not too off-topic, I’d spend my £4.9m on beer and pies.
