I got up this morning thinking it's time to move forward. Think about the things that make me lucky, smile more and moan at the children less. Half a day on and I've achieved so far - so that's something to smile about - oops post just dropped through the door postiive thinking means there will be no bills today :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Good outlook, Willow. I'm sure it helps to be positive and be nice to your children as often as possible; they'll reward you with a lifetime of love and friendship.

Got it! I really should moan less at my kids as well. But they're so messy!

Which reminds me of a story I read in one of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books about a man who told his kids he loved them every day because his father had never said those words to him. On reading it, I could honestly say the same about my Dad. I now tell them I love them every day. I would hate for them to grow up to think the same as I did. Bit soppy I know, but it seemed appropriate.

Even at 12 and 10 I still tuck them in everynight and have a good morning cuddle, precious foundations. mind you in between I can be a witch. I have just been creating recovery disks on the 12 year old's computer. I had a visitor in between and told him not to touch anything on his desk so I get back and he has put another disk in the others have changed order and I'm wondering why basic instructions can't be understood.. but I'm still going to be positive

Just to say day 2 and despite a really awful day at work, really really awful I have come home, cooked a yummy tea, and been a nice mummy even when I was being shouted out I calmly sorted the problem. Feeling good :biggrin:

didn't get to cycle again though, going to have to leave this forum if I don't get on the bike soon!
