The P Word!!

Hi Guys,
I have had a rotten bit of luck lately with the dreaded P-Word! I noticed off the back of this that I now have a small gash in my front tyre which will more than likely require the tyre to be replaced.

Therefore my question is this, do I :-

a) Replace the tyre, and hope that my luck changes.
b) Slime the inner tubes?
c) Buy some P****** resistant tyres? If so, what do you recommend, and how much should I look to spend?

Appreciate the advice guys!

What tyres do you have at the moment, what bike do you ride, where do you ride, what's more Important, speed or protection?

If you are into speed you may go along the Gatorskins type of route.

For general touring and leisure Schwalbe Marathons, or if you are prepared to accept a heavier tyre and a harsher ride for the convenience of virtually never having to deal with a flat, Marathon Plus may be the best options. Surprisingly Argos of all places is currently offering a range of Marathons at very reasonable prices.

Cheers guys - im a larger guy and im not massively interested in huge amounts of speed, just cant stand the effort of changing a puncture....the roads by me are a mess, hence my 4 punctures in the last month.

Im currently riding a Specialized Allez C2 Sport.

Tempted to have a look at the Marathon plus. :okay:
